In 1962, he made the decision to build his first speculative house and has never looked back. He founded V.S. Construction Corporation in 1980, with his sons Armando and Billy joining the family business in the late 1980’s.

As opportunities presented themselves, he discovered he possessed the vision and expertise to develop some of the area’s most popular single family communities. His willingness to take risks and realize his personal dream paid off. His first large scale undertaking began in the 1970's, when he took on an eight lot project in a foreclosure sale and eventually turned it into the supremely successful 400-home Watch Hill Manor in the Town of Cortlandt. Success followed as his notable residential subdivisions came to fulfillment.

In 1992, V.S. Construction developed and sold our first project for national home builder Toll Brothers, Inc. called Salem Chase. This was the beginning of a working relationship that has lasted over 30 years, including projects such as Red Oak Estates, Cortlandt Ridge, Valeria by Toll Brothers, The Enclave at Pleasantville, Carraway Apartments, Edge-on-the-Hudson, Chappaqua Crossing, Marker Ridge at Irvington, and more.

We now find ourselves to be an all-encompassing construction company, fully involved in real estate development--both residential and commercial; as well as public and private site contracting including sewer, septic, water, drainage, paving, and masonry.
